The Student Dean's Office of Istanbul Gelisim University organized a "COFFEE TALKS" event on the topic of "FASHION AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE". The event took place on February 21, 2024, at the İGÜ J Block 17th Floor Student Center from 13:00 to 14:30. During the event, our esteemed colleague, Associate Professor Sultan ÇETİNKAYA, who is the Head of the Fashion Design Program at Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School, spoke about Fashion and Artificial Intelligence. She shared valuable information about the changing sales strategies in the fashion industry due to artificial intelligence technology (such as Chatbot, Smart Mirror, Virtual Clothing Fitting Rooms, Virtual Reality Showrooms), applications of artificial intelligence in fashion design, societal debates surrounding this technology, and ultimately the need for humans to manage technology.

Our esteemed colleague demonstrated examples of fashion design applications using artificial intelligence, explaining to the participants how they could implement such applications. The event concluded with the dear students downloading and experiencing one of the sample applications on their phones and showcasing their fashion design applications using artificial intelligence technology.
