Istanbul Gelişim University students participated in the charcoal drawing workshop within thescope of the artistic development workshop, accompanied by Lecturer Şermin Tepe, on the 17th floor of the Student Center on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

In the pencil drawing activity held within the scope of Artistic Development Workshops, approaches that will contribute to the development of talent and imagination by creating abstract geometric forms were followed. In the training given; Creation of abstract geometric forms, line-form, charcoal toning, light-shadow techniques were taught and practiced.

During the activity phase, Şermin Tepe emphasized the charcoal technique and the approaches of art and design towards original interpretation. Tepe examined and commented on student works during the hands-on activity. The artistic development workshop attracted a lot of attention from the participating students.
